Well this is my first ever Blog. It’s New Years Eve and like everyone else I am hoping for a really satisfying 2012. Being New Years Eve I wanted to get my first blog up today, so please excuse the fact that the site is not complete. Over the next week or so I hope to improve and personalize the site.

The primary purpose for starting this blog is to promote the Etesian Group. I would like to do this in a more personal and informal way. I believe that if people get to know me and my values they will then be more comfortable allowing Etesian to help them with their businesses. After all, our businesses are very personal to us. For many of us they are an extension and reflection of ourselves, and therefore their success is very important to us.

The Etesian Group evolved from (my) many years work as an independent contractor assisting different businesses from many different industries change, add value or achieve significant turnarounds. After completing a significant public company turnaround in 2008 I started looking for ways to consult independently rather than contract. I enjoy what I do. It’s both fun and very satisfying to look back over time and see the results I have been able to achieve in partnership with my clients. I now believe I have a very significant body of work behind me that shows quite clearly the techniques and disciplines I bring to clients businesses work extremely well. Those clients also provide ongoing proof, case studies and testimonials about my work.

The Etesian Group’s focus is to look very closely at businesses key fundamentals, disciplines and systems and through them plan a path to better results and adding value. Etesian’s focus is to increase shareholder value and profit.

The Etesian Group has a really great team made up of some of Perth’s best professionals in fields such as accounting, strategic planning, marketing and organizational design, banking and finance, and more.

In 2012 I am looking to considerably broaden Etesian’s range of services. I will keep you posted about these as they come about.

 One of Etesian’s key roles is to assist SME’s and middle market businesses that cannot otherwise afford the (ongoing) services of high quality full time advisers, but who need the skill sets such professionals bring to their businesses thereby enabling them to seize the opportunities for growth, change or success.
